Who writes what you read on this website, what it is based on, and how we keep it accurate.
The pages and articles on this website are written by, or under the direction of, Ahmar Shoaib, the founder and owner of Karachi Tank Cleaning. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Karachi and has run the company since 2007.
He reviews every page before it is published. Pages that explain how the work is done, such as the service procedure, the chemicals we use and how we work safely, carry his name and the date they were last updated.
Most of what we publish comes from doing the job: cleaning household, commercial and industrial tanks across Karachi, every day, since 2007. When we describe a problem or a method, it is one we deal with ourselves.
Where a page makes a statement about health, water quality or chemicals, we rely on published guidance from recognised bodies, and we name and link the source. For example, our statements about chlorine disinfection refer to the WHO technical note on cleaning and disinfecting water storage tanks.
We do not give medical advice. If you think you or your family are ill because of your water, see a doctor.
Our charges page shows the same rates as the calculator on our homepage, with the date they were last updated. Facts about the company, such as our certificates and registrations, are shown with their dates and with a scan of the document.
When something changes, we update the page and change its date.
We do not write our own reviews. Our rating comes from our Google Business Profile, and we link to it so that you can read the reviews on Google yourself.
The organisations on our clients page are past and present clients. We do not publish the names or addresses of household customers. Any organisation that wants its name removed can ask, and we will remove it.
This website carries no advertising and no sponsored content. No one pays to be mentioned on it. Its purpose is to explain our own services.
